Types de fonctions

Les fonctions peuvent être classées de plusieurs manières. Ici, nous les avons classés en fonction du nombre et du type d'argument qu'ils prennent et du type de résultat. Les fonctions peuvent être,

  • Atomic - Où les arguments sont atomiques et produisent des résultats atomiques

  • Aggregate - atome de la liste

  • Uniform (list from list)- Extension du concept d'atome tel qu'il s'applique aux listes. Le nombre de la liste d'arguments est égal au nombre de la liste de résultats.

  • Other - si la fonction ne fait pas partie de la catégorie ci-dessus.

Les opérations binaires en mathématiques sont appelées dyadic functionsen q; par exemple, «+». De même, les opérations unaires sont appeléesmonadic functions; par exemple, «abs» ou «floor».

Fonctions fréquemment utilisées

Plusieurs fonctions sont fréquemment utilisées dans qla programmation. Ici, dans cette section, nous verrons l'utilisation de certaines fonctions populaires -

q)/fill - used with nulls. There are three functions for processing null values.

The dyadic function named fill replaces null values in the right argument with the atomic left argument.
